Community Church Women's Ministry exists to connect women with the Lord and with one another. Women from every stage of life meet together to encourage, support, pray for, and love one another. This community of ladies desires to grow in grace and deepen their relationships with the Lord.

Bible Studies

We have weekly Bible studies during the school year. Currently we have Bible studies meeting on Tuesday evening, with the majority of our studies meeting on Wednesday morning, and one class meeting on Thursday morning. We love meeting together each week to equip and encourage other women in the church.

Yearly Retreats

Every year we have a weekend retreat that we hope encourages women to get to know each other on a deeper level, and to rekindle their relationship with the Lord. We enjoy games, Bible-centered speakers, lots of food, and heartfelt conversations in the mountains of Colorado.

Tuesday Evening

“Seamless: Understanding the Bible as One Complete Story” by Angie Smith

  • Led by Angie Warren
  • Study Length: 7 Weeks
  • Homework: 30 Minutes/Day
  • In this study you will understand the Bible as a whole as you change the way you look at Scripture; connect with the people, places, and promises of God’s word in a fresh way; gain clarity and confidence in your understanding of Scripture; and discover a biblical context that reshapes and brings to life stories from the Old and New Testaments.

Wednesday Morning

Galatians Bible Study

  • Led by Heidi Olson
  • Study Length: 12 Weeks
  • Homework: 1 Hour/Week
  • How do you understand the gospel of Jesus Christ? Join us for a study of grace through the book of Galatians. We will examine each passage to see what it says about God, ourselves, the disaster of sin, life in this fallen world, what God has called us to and the operation of Grace. We will use a set of questions to guide our study each week to apply God's word from the book of Galatians. Please bring a Bible.

"Armor of God" by Priscilla Shirer

  • Led by Ellen Karasevich
  • Study Length: 12 Weeks
  • Homework: 2-3 Hours/Week
  • All day, everyday, an invisible war rages around you. A cunning, devilish enemy seeks to wreak havoc on everything that matters to you – your mind, your emotions, your family, your future. This study walks us through Ephesians 6:10–18 and gives an action plan for putting on the Armor of God and developing a personalized prayer strategy as we engage in this battle against the one who wants us to live a defenseless and defeated life.

“Seamless: Understanding the Bible as One Complete Story” by Angie Smith

  • Led by Kim Newcom & Tori Thompson
  • Study Length: 9 Weeks
  • Homework: 30 minutes/Day
  • In this study you will understand the Bible as a whole as you change the way you look at Scripture; connect with the people, places, and promises of God’s word in a fresh way; gain clarity and confidence in your understanding of Scripture; and discover a biblical context that reshapes and brings to life stories from the Old and New Testaments.

“The Quest” by Beth Moore

  • Led by Teri Faulkner
  • Study Length: 7 Weeks (2/7/18 - 3/21/18)
  • Homework: 30 Minutes/Day
  • This study uses questions from Scripture to lead you into intimacy with the One who knows you best. The Quest is a cross between a curriculum and a journal hat helps us dig into the Word, to respond to the questions of God, and to bring your questions before Him.

"Fight Back with Joy" by Margaret Feinberg (Starting April 4th, 9:00 AM-11:30 AM)

  • Led by Teri Faulkner
  • Study Length: 7 Weeks (4/4/18 - 5/16/18)
  • Homework: 30 Minutes/Day
  • Sooner or later, we find ourselves on the battlefield of life and struggle to know how to respond. But God says, "Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God's" (2 Chronicles 20:15). This study will help you embrace a life that's richer and fuller than you've ever known before—a life radiant with joy.

“My One Word” by Mike Ashcraft & Rachel Olsen (once a month)

  • Led by: Ellen Karasevich
  • Study Length: 11 Months
  • Time: 11:45 AM-1:00 PM
  •  New Year’s resolutions…what if our hopes for this year centered on who God wants us to become, and the transformation process? This will take all your big plans for life change and narrow them down into a single focus. One word that centers on your character and creates a vision for your future. Please join us to pray together, explore God’s word, and allow the Holy Spirit to transform your character over the next year. We will meet twice monthly from February to April, then monthly through December.
