Community Church Women's Ministry exists to connect women with the Lord and with one another. Women from every stage of life meet together to encourage, support, pray for, and love one another. This community of ladies desires to grow in grace and deepen their relationships with the Lord.

Bible Studies

We have weekly Bible studies during the school year. Currently we have Bible studies meeting on Tuesday evening, with the majority of our studies meeting on Wednesday morning. We love meeting together each week to equip and encourage other women in the church.

Yearly Retreats

Every year we have a weekend retreat that we hope encourages women to get to know each other on a deeper level, and to rekindle their relationship with the Lord. We enjoy games, Bible-centered speakers, lots of food, and heartfelt conversations in the mountains of Colorado.

Current Studies

Tuesday Evening

  • What: "Armor of God" by Priscilla Shirer (Led by Angie Warren)
  • When and Where: WPCC from 6:30-8:00 PM.
  • Additional Info: Study length is 12 weeks, and homework is 1 hour a week. Limit 20.
  • Description: All day, everyday, an invisible war rages around you. A cunning, devilish enemy seeks to wreak havoc on everything that matters to you – your mind, your emotions, your family, your future. This study walks us through Ephesians 6:10–18 and gives an action plan for putting on the Armor of God and developing a personalized prayer strategy as we engage in this battle against the one who wants us to live a defenseless and defeated life.
  • What: "The Ways of the Alongsider" by Bill Mowery (Led by Jody Severance)
  • When and Where: WPCC from 6:30-8:30 PM.
  • Additional Info: Study length is 12 weeks. Homework is 1-2 hours per week.
  • Description: "The Ways of the Alongsider" is more than a book to read; it's a life to experience.  It is more than a program to complete; it's a passion to pursue. Much is written about the curriculum and content of discipleship, but relatively few writers tell us HOW to make disciples. This study guide will help you understand the ways and principles needed to help people become wholehearted followers of Jesus.  I want you to finish this book and say, "By faith, I can do this. God can use me to make disciples who make disciples!”

Wednesday Morning (all Wednesday morning studies are from 9:00 AM-11:00 AM)

  • What: "Learn To Guard What God Has Entrusted To You" by Beth Moore (Led by Teri Faulkner)
  • Additional Info: Study length is 12 weeks, and homework is approximately 1.5 hours each week.
  • Description: We were never meant to take this journey of faith alone or in secret. God has entrusted us with the gift of the gospel; something too precious and life-giving to keep to ourselves. In this Bible study, Beth will encourage you to guard what God has entrusted to you, further his kingdom by sharing Christ with others, and pour into future generations just as Paul once mentored Timothy. In this journey of joy and hardship, we need each other to stay the course and live lives of faithfulness. to Christ.
  • What: "GPS- Gifted & Prepared to Serve" by Nollen Rollins (Led by Jim & Annie Vandermeer)

"As you discover how God has already equipped you with strengths, abilities, passions, experiences and gifts, you will determine personal direction for fulfilling your God-given life purpose." Come and join us for this life changing course!
  • What: "Armor of God" by Priscilla Shirer (Led by Alison Sims)
  • Additional Info: Study length is 12 weeks, and homework is 1 hour a week.
  • What: "Mother Hen Flew the Coop" by Melissa Harding (Led by Bryana Mansfield & Lisa Tuttle)
  • Additional Info: Study length is 11 weeks, and homework is reading 1 chapter and answering 8-10 reflection questions per week.
  • Description: Being a mom is the greatest job in the world – at least that's what most of us imagined. The truth is, motherhood is hard – really hard. We love our kids, but if we're honest, some days, we'd rather fly the coop instead. Do you long to break free from the comparison-driven insecurities and guilt-ridden failures of motherhood? If so, then close your eyes. Imagine someplace calm and quiet. Then start reading. Because honey, this book is for you.
  • What: "My One Word" (Led by Ellen Karasevich)
  • When: Monthly from 11:45a-1:00p on the third Wednesday of the month. Meet every 4-8 weeks.
  • Additional Info: Study length is 12 months, and there is no child care provided for this class.
  • Description: If you're like most people, each January goes something like this: you choose problematic behaviors that have plagued you for years and vow to reverse them. All of which are typically off your radar by February. "My One Word" is an experiment designed to move you beyond this cycle. The challenge is simple: lose the long list of changes you want to make this year and instead pick ONE WORD. This process provides clarity by taking all your plans to change and narrowing them down into one word that centers on your character and creates a vision for your future.
