What a beautiful, biblical institution the family is- Here at Community Church, our children's ministry exists to encourage and equip parents as the primary disciplers of their children. We believe that if parents train up their children in the way they should go, that when they are old they will not depart from it.
Ways that we assist parents in the discipleship of their children: Sunday School, Vacation Bible School and occasional parental equipping classes.
In Sunday School education every Sunday morning, our teachers share chronological lessons from scripture, following The Gospel Project curriculum (thegospelproject.com) which points children towards our hope-Jesus and His gospel- with each lesson. During the summer we host one week long bible school for our elementary aged children teaching biblical concepts through scientific experiments and observation. Finally, on occasion, the church will host specific parental equipping classes to present common topics pertinent to today's parent, facilitate discussion and shepherd toward biblical solutions.
