Are you a member of the church or just visiting?: member

What type of work do you do?: Correspondent at Focus on the Family. Retired from Marine Corps.

If you are comfortable in sharing..... What is your story of seeking/ knowing Jesus Christ?: I was raised in a strongly Christian home and was brought up in the Presbyterian tradition. I accepted Jesus as my Savior when I was 13, but I didn't really commit to a Christian life until much later. A Navy chaplain personally mentored me and my wife for over a year. Since then, I have participated in numerous Bible study groups, primarily through Officers Christian Fellowship, and the Lord has showered blessings on my family. He has led us through many difficult events and situations.

List any of your personal interests or hobbies so we can know you better: I like bicycling and cruising highways on my motorcycle. I like target shooting and reloading, but not hunting; I'm afraid I might hurt something.

If married and or have any kids please tell us about them?: I have been married to my wonderful wife Deb since 1974. We have 3 children: Sarah, Dan, and Dave. Deb is a para-educator for special needs children at Summit elementary. Sarah is an Air Force pilot, currently assigned to the AF Academy as a soaring instructor (gliders). Dan is Marine lieutenant stationed in Washington DC and is married to Andrea. They are the parents of my grandson Elijah. Dave and his wife Emily live in Ft. Collins. He is a digital cartographer and Emily is going through nursing school.
