All Church Picnic at Memorial Park

August 28, 2011 from 12:30pm to 4:30pm
Come join us for our annual all church picnic. We will provide hamburgers, hotdogs, buns and lemonade. Please bring a side dish or dessert that serves at least 8 people to share. We will have volleyball games, booths, relay games (some may involve water so wear the right clothing :-)). Bring your own chairs and we will see you right after second service!

Good Friday Passover Meal at Woodland Park Community Church

April 2, 2010 from 6:30pm to 8pm
This is a family event. This Passover Meal combines the traditional elements of the Jewish Passover and shows how Christ was the fulfillment. This is more of a taster than a full meal so it is suggested that you eat before attending. Childcare is available for children 5 and under. If you are comfortable in sharing..... What is your story of seeking/ knowing Jesus Christ?
I was raised in a Southern Baptist Church in Texas. I mostly attended with my grandparents.
I have been trying to find my way back to God for years. My daughter and her children moved here from Texas and live with us.......I felt that the timing was a sign from God and not only did I need to seek him out for myself, but also for my daughter and the children. He has been a comfort to me in my life thus far and I want to get to know him better.
List any of your personal interests or hobbies so we can know you better
I like to read, scrapbook, crafts, and keep any and all things organized. The grandchildren have pretty much taken over my time, but I do what I can when I can.
If married and or have any kids please tell us about them?
I have been married to Ron going on 37 years. We have a son in Texas that is 36, married and has 3 kids.
Our daughter is living here with us....divorced, with 3 kids.
