Volunteer work mostly....I love working with the Women!

If you are comfortable in sharing..... What is your story of seeking/ knowing Jesus Christ?

I was saved at a Billy Graham meeting when I was 12 years old in Houston, Texas. I rededicated my life to Christ when I was 30 at which time I truly felt the presence of Jesus come alive in me. I love serving Him and I love entertaining in my home, especially inviting other Christians to share meals, celebrate special occasions and worship and study Christ together.

List any of your personal interests or hobbies so we can know you better

I love to read and to cook. I love to play card games, board games, any games! I love children, animals and traveling. My favorite place is anywhere Bob and the kids are. We visit all five of them alot. I love walks with Bob! I follow Fox News and American Idol...that's about it! My favorite conversations are about Christ. I love our small group and I love leading on Wednesday mornings!

If married and or have any kids please tell us about them?

Bob and I married 5 1/2 years ago. We have five children between us. I have three married children and five grandchildren, all living in Dallas. Bob's daughter lives in San Francisco and his son lives in Maine.

If you are part of our community, what's your favorite thing about our fellowship?

Worship on Sunday morning! I love the music and the teachings but mostly I love the fellowship and friendship in my church family. I LOVE women's life groups on Wednesday mornings.

What are you reading?

Just finished "The Shack" and really enjoyed it. Now I'm reading the Zion Covenant series by Bodie and Brock Thoene. It's a historical Christian fiction series about the Holocaust. One of my favorite books is "Room of Marvels" by James Bryan Smith. I reread it every couple of years.

What are you passionate about?

My relationship with Christ and learning all I can about His life in Israel. I'm passionate about our church and about reaching out to non-believers. I'm passionate about my family and friends and I'm passionate about growing as a Christian. I'm passionate about Home Group. Lately, I'm passionate about the music on my Ipod.
