Women's Fall Brunch at WPCC Worship Center

Women's Fall Retreat at Deer Valley Ranch

All Church Picnic at Memorial Park

August 28, 2011 from 12:30pm to 4:30pm
Come join us for our annual all church picnic. We will provide hamburgers, hotdogs, buns and lemonade. Please bring a side dish or dessert that serves at least 8 people to share. We will have volleyball games, booths, relay games (some may involve water so wear the right clothing :-)). Bring your own chairs and we will see you right after second service!

What type of work do you do?
I work as a gov't contractor.
If you are comfortable in sharing..... What is your story of seeking/ knowing Jesus Christ?
Through out the years I have always had a relationship with Jesus, however when we moved here almost 2 years ago, my husband was not able to move with my son and I. It was a struggle, lots of prayers, lots of questions why, lots of angry and lots and lots of tears. Jesus never left my side nor our families nor our marriage. He had a plan.
List any of your personal interests or hobbies so we can know you better
I love just sitting in a quite place with a glass of wine and reading. We like fishing, hiking and camping as well.
If married and or have any kids please tell us about them?
Tyler is 8 1/2 years old and loves playing hockey and baseball and this fall will try his hand out at football. He enjoys hanging out with his best buddy, Wyatt Netherton and playing nurf wars. He is a true out doors man.
If you are part of our community, what's your favorite thing about our fellowship?
Music and the young people around who have such an amazing faith.
What are you passionate about?
I love working with young adults, 15 to 19 years of age. I haven't done that yet here. But I was a police officer in Texas and I taught the D.A.R.E. programs and worked with gangs,and troubled kids in the high schools and I am really longing to do it again.
