Profile Information

Are you a member of the church or just visiting?: Surprisingly, not a member, yet, but I feel like I belong

What type of work do you do?: I'm the music teacher at Summit Elementary

If you are comfortable in sharing..... What is your story of seeking/ knowing Jesus Christ?: I grew up in a Christian home and decided to make my faith my own in eighth grade because of the influence of my two best friends, Julie (who became my friend when I was 8 and we traded stickers in her dad's office) and Amanda, who became my friend when I was four because she and I were in the same Sunday school class). Both my youth ministers, Scott and Todd were huge disciplers in my life at that time as well.
Since then, it's been a journey of fragile trust as I learn that God IS who He says He is, and that He can be trusted through my life.

List any of your personal interests or hobbies so we can know you better: I love creative stuff, and vintage stuff, scrapbooking and rubber stamping. I love artist trading cards, quilting, embroidery, I'm into genealogy, shopping, traveling and wandering. I spend the summers in Kansas laughing and playing with my BFFs and family. I am a Kansas Explorer with my own # and even a secret handshake (smile)

If you are part of our community, what's your favorite thing about our fellowship?: The journey. God is clearly at work among us and I just try to hold on for the ride.

What are you reading?: The Year of Living Biblically by AJ Jacobs

What are you passionate about?: Creativity!
