Dear friends, from 8 to 17 July 2011 we will have our yearly Missionary Campaign among the Quilombola People. Please, pray for us as we put this campaign together. The cost will be $215 dollars including transportation, lodging and food during the days the campaign will happen in Brazil. All you have to do is look for a good deal on air tickets and join us. My dear friends, brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus:

 

Kener, one of my twins is leaving to live in Paraguay for one year after God has called him to serve as a missionary there in that country. He’ll be serving in a local Christian school and also in a local church. Everything has happened really fast these last couple weeks, but God’s call for missions in Kener’s life is something happened some years ago. We’re very happy, me and Katiana, but our hearts are missing him already. It will be hard to continue our missionary journey without him in the months to come. Please, be praying for him, that the Lord will keep him by His side wherever he goes, that he’ll put words of wisdom in his mouth when he speaks. May he be salt and light, and that Christ’s character will be reflected in his life and in all his attitudes. May his heart he full of gifts of serving and loving his neighbor and that everyone might know that Jesus Christ is God and savior of the world.

I want to share with all of you some of our needs these last couple weeks: first we need to buy him his plane tickets (Natal-Foz do Iguaçu-$350), so if you can help us somehow, please do so. God’s already provided for some of his financial support, but if you feel touched by God to help him with some of his expenses right now with all the arrangements he needs, please, send any $ to one of the addresses below. And if you want to commit yourself to help him on a monthly basis, please let us know and we will be glad to have you as part of his support team. Most of all keep him and us in your prayers.
