Another message from the Kirchoff's about this week's 3/15 gathering.

This is a critical week for us. We are having the Watering Hole for the second time on Sunday morning in Stansbury Elementary at 10 am. Everyone in the community got an invite in the mail yesterday, plus it’s in the local paper. The worship & message will be focused on the inspiration, accuracy, & relevance of the Bible. A mission team of 8 from Trinity College is arriving tomorrow to help us serve some people’s needs on Saturday & to host the service on Sunday.



Please pray for …

· All of the families who received the invite & are seeing our focus on the Bible as truth.

· Andy as he leads the worship band practice tonight & for their key role on Sunday morning.

· My final message prep. This is a very important & challenging one for me to give!

· Unity & protection for our families & each of the team members from Trinity.

· The relationships & conversations with people we’re serving on Saturday.

You may want to pray using our Scripture for this Sunday. Thank you so much for partnering with us in this way!!

Short-Term Mission Trip Close to Home

Pete and Donna Kirchhoff and their family are now serving the Lord by starting a new church just outside of Salt Lake. Their church, Waters Edge, has a mission's opportunity on Saturday & Sunday August 15-16, 2009 where we will lead their youth program while parents attend the worship service. We will have the opportunity to fellowship, teach, and show our love and support for this new church. We will be responsible for the cost of travel, food, and accommodations in Stansbury Park, Utah. Please pray for the three of us couples who are focusing on shepherding people at Waters Edge & leading our Well Groups.

Andy & Julie headed off last night for a marriage conference in Park City. This year they have begun a new marriage, new ministry roles, new side jobs, & new friendships – all in a new place! Pray for their unity & strength to continue growing.

Jim & Amy are moving to Salt Lake City this weekend. They sold their house & are renting an apartment while Amy is waiting to hear back from grad schools she has applied to around the country. It’s uncertain how much longer they will be ministering with us. Please pray for their leadership amongst all the changes & wisdom they need for the future.

I leave on Monday for a four day speaking conference in New Mexico. As expected before beginning Waters Edge, the weekly teaching has been the most challenging aspect for me. Pray for the skills I need to learn this week & more importantly being able to dismiss negative messages I hold onto about my ability to be a an effective communicator for God.
