Hi, We have several members of our body heading out this week for places all over the world. Please keep them in your prayers over the next couple of weeks.
Tom Parr is in India from Feb. 2-16. He will be working with a team of 8 in the areas of church planting, evangelism, discipleship, and medical clinics (they will be serving 250-300 patients a day) in various locations in India. Pray for many open doors for the gospel, boldness and clarity in preaching Christ, new churches to be firmly established, and development of leaders and vision. Pray also that the schemes of the evil one will be thwarted, as there is much spiritual warfare going on. And pray for protection and care for Tom's family left here at home.
Bruce and Bev McDonald leave on Friday for Cambodia. Please pray for Bruce as he speaks each night for 5 nights to all of ABWE's Asia and Pacific Rim leaders and their wives (about 44 in attendance). Pray for quality time as Bruce and Bev meet with the missionaries/leaders one in one. Pray for their travel- they have 8 flights over several time zones, with time in Tokyo and Thailand. Also for the rest of the funds to come in to cover the cost of the trip.
Roy and Margaret Fitzwater will be in California from Feb. 2-11. They are meeting with the Hispanic staff of CDM, (Church Discipleship Ministries). Their purpose is to train these staff members and also to listen to them to see how the discipleship concepts work in the Hispanic culture. Roy asks for a good balance between listen and training. They will be doing the same thing later in the month in Florida.
(Hmmm...India, Cambodia, California, Florida... How come missionaries never go to Alaska or Siberia in February???)
Thanks for your prayers for our brothers and sisters as they take the light to a dark world!!!
Bruce and Bev McDonald- Pray for them as they are in Orlando this week speaking to the Leadership Team for ABWE (Association of Baptists for World Evangelism) and their spouces. There will be 45 in all gathered in Orlando. Bruce speaks 1 hour each day. This team represents our entire ABWE world - 86 countries. May the Lord also grant one on one and couple to couple time for Bev and Bruce as they come alongside these precious servants of Christ.
Here is the prayer calendar for the Thailand Trip, October 12th-24th
Chad,
We will be praying for your time in Kenya. We are working with a Kenyan Congregation in Dallas, whose goal is to become a disciplemaking church so that they can send disciplemaking missionaries back to Kenya. On a future trip if you need further connections, please let us know so that we can make those happen.
Hello community family,
Just a quick note to ask for prayers for the upcoming Kenya trip. The prayer calendar is attached if you would like to follow along with your prayers throughout the next two weeks.
Blessings,
Chad for the team.
Dear Missions Family,
I would like to ask your prayers for the month of March as we are starting a partner development campaign with the prayer that God would supply the shortfall in monthly support that we have in the ministry. We are $2000 short per month of our budget goals and we pray that God would bring a team of prayer and financial supporters that would fill out this ministry for His Glory. We have some new websites that will be help in more timely communication with our friends and partners; they are below. Thanks for your prayers in advance!

Praying friends,
Thank you for praying for our visa situation. Here is an update, which a number of you have written and asked for…
We are on a learning curve. We have never been this way before. Thank you for being willing to join us on this journey! One lesson we are all learning is that this kind of issue takes time to resolve. Of course, God can change that in an instant, so please do not stop praying. Our sincere desire is to remain in Jordan for many years to come. But, of course, God has to open that door, and we do not take that for granted!
Immediate request: we are traveling this coming weekend, January 28-30, to Egypt in order to pay our overstay charges that have been accumulating since our residency ran out on December 8th, and then to come back into Jordan on tourist visas. Please pray that this goes smoothly and that we will be refreshed during this time away. Tonight is the last performance of the Whitman musical and Mary definitely needs some ‘down time.’
Longer-term request: once we are back in Jordan on tourist visas, we can be in the country for up to 3 months. During this time we plan to re-apply for residency. It would be good before re-applying to know why we were refused the first time. So pray that becomes clearer for us. In mid-April we will be traveling to Turkey for our semi-annual Entrust All-Staff Conference. If residency has not been granted by then, we will again enter Jordan on tourist visas…same thing for our trip to the US this coming summer.
We know that many of you receive a large number of e-mails daily and we don’t want to be adding to that number too frequently, so this may be our last update for a while. But if significant developments warrant, we certainly we will get those to you as soon as we can. Thank you so much for joining us in prayer on this journey (and ultimately, spiritual battle)!
With deep appreciation and with our love,
Jeff and Mary in Amman
Hey Matt and Honduras Team,
Will be praying for you all! Kelly
