Welcome!

Welcome to "Job Share!" My hope is that this can be a place to SHARE:
-Your need for a job,
-Your qualifications/resume,
-Your challenges and encouragements along the way,
-Your awareness of a job opening,
-Your encouraging words to those looking for a job.
In short, let's make this a gathering place to come around those who are unemployed and give not just information, but encouragement as well. Whether you are looking for work, hiring, or just want to pass on some encouragement, check out this group on a regular basis and let's offer "a cup of cold water in Jesus' name" to each other.

Don Peterson really needs help at his store in the Chapel Hills Mall. It is temporary between now and Christmas, but could turn into more. The job involves gift wrapping and/or selling. Please call him at 271-7100 for more details. He says there is good money to be made.

Hospitality Ministry Oportunity with a housing bonus.

7- 9 Couples are needed in Colorado Springs to serve as Cares Teams through Apartment Life. 2 of these couples need to be bi-lingual - you do have to have a fair credit report - they will work with you.

The Deal is - you get a 2 bedroom apartment for $250 a month and at the end of your 2 year commitment you get part of that back as a rebate and you only do 70 hrs a month (35 hrs each) volunteer ( that is why they want couples)-
Job Description- loving on the managemnet and residents like Jesus would. Planning breakfasts, dinners, movie nights, bingo, doing welcome visits, etc. When you do shopping or events together it counts double the hours. The apartment complex gives you a monthly budget to work with.

Go to www.caresteam.org and check it out. Please put Dan and Kathy Lindvig, 5362 N Nevada Ave #130, Colorado Springs, CO 80918 down as your referral. (they are friends of mine that asked me to post this up).

If you have any questions, call them at 719-528-1297 (Dan & Kathy Lindvig)

My husband, Don and I, will be sponsoring a crafter/farmer's market in Colorado Spring beginning June 28 and it will run every Sunday until October 10. If you, or someone you know, is interested in that kind of thing and would like to reserve a spot we are looking for musicians to work for tips (No fee to sign up for musicians), crafters, food vendors, lemonade stand, soda fountain, veggie vendors, meat vendors, etc., etc., etc. It will be a fun project. Email me here on the website or call me at 217-9014, or my personal email wesson30@gmail.com for more info. Hours will be set up from 8 a.m. to 9:30 and market times of 10 to 3 each Sunday. I know it coincides with church, but it wouldn't be necessary to come every week. There will be a cost of $25 a week to participate.
