I have seen Wines of Colorado coupons in a bunch of places lately, they are for $7 off, which ends up being buy-one-get-one-free if you get a burger or sandwich. That isn't as good a deal as .75 cent tacos, but it's still quite an inexpensive date night. Also, Meadow Muffins in Old Colorado Springs has burger night on Tuesday's. I can't remember what the price is, but it is cheap.
Rent Movies at City Market for a BUCK. That was my valentine to my wife.
How about true 'bargain-bins'?
City Market has a great day-old bread bin, in the front far-left corner (as you enter the store), with awesome bargains on whole grain french breads, dinner rolls, wheat sandwich bread, & other baked goods. I go in there every couple of weeks & stock up, storing great-quality breads in the freezer if we don't need them right away.

City Market has another bargain bin, back by the restroom, where you can find all sorts of odds & ends of good deals. I've found bargain diapers & baby items there, as well as pastas, canned goods, & high-cal protein bars (for the growing teen boy in my house). OH - also check the dairy section for extreme mark-downs on cheeses, fridge cookies, biscuits & crusts, etc. They usually have those items just to the right of the cheese section. AND - almost every time I've been in the produce section lately, I've found amazing deals on bagged fruit (16oz. organic apples for 99 cents, 2lbs of grapefruit for $1.99, 16oz. 'Cuties' oranges for $2.34). Hmmm...tho that probably only works if you have a big family & go thru tons of fruit per week...

Safeway has a bargain bin in the back by the pharmacy - once again with all kinds of odds & ends. We've found almost-out-of-date crackers, protein bars, & more.
Check out www.restaurant.com for half-price 'gift certificates' to really nice local restaurants. For example, last year I purchased several $25 gift certificates for The Mona Lisa restaurant, for $10 each. Made great gifts, and a fun date-night for Kevin & me!
LOVE this topic!!! Put Bargin Mart and Community Foods on your "must visit" shopping list! They are both is Colorado Springs and super fun...in a sort of I love to save money kind of way. Bargin Mart is between Old Colorado City and Manitou Springs, and has a variety of foods including natural and organic packaged foods. Super surprise savings! Communtiy Foods is in Manitou and has great prices on natural and organic packaged and fresh foods. If you wanna check it out I'm always in!
You can rent DVDs from Redbox for free using promo codes. You can only use a promo code once/credit card. So if you aren't following Dave Ramsey strictly, you can use them more than once. You can Google online for codes. One that works is "DVDONME" - no quotes when you enter it.
If you go to www.insideredbox.com, they will send you an email every Monday with a link to the free Monday code. Even if you don't have time for a movie on Monday, you don't have to return it until 9pm on Tuesday, so you could watch the movie after work on Tuesday.
There's a local Colorado Springs blog, ( http://springsbargains.com/) where a lady named Carrie keeps track of bargains at the local grocery stores and other places. Here's something she posted today:

"Folks, I cannot think of anything better than a church rummage sale that’s free. Yup, that’s right: Village Seven Presbyterian Church is holding a FREE event on Saturday, March 7th from 8 AM - 12 PM. They’re giving away clothing, accessories, sporting equipment, books, music, toys, houshold items, furniture, baby gear, and craft supplies. They’re giving it away. How incredible is that?!"
What a fun new group! Great idea!!
Redbox is publishing a code for a free rental each week in March. It's only good until midnight or closing time each Wednesday. Today's code is JBG123.
I just wanted to share this fun bargain from last week. I went to the Entenmanns/Oroweat Bakery Outlet on Academy and bought 11 loaves of Oroweat 100% whole wheat bread for 10.68! That's .97c each loaf instead of the $3.50 or so a loaf if you buy it in the store. That's even cheaper then you can get it at Sam's. So...if you only like good bread and don't want to spend the $$ for it, go to the outlet!
