"I am writing, scribbling, rather, just for fun. Not that I have anthing to say. There is a charm in bright clean, unfilled pages, which I, for one, cannot resist."
--Katherine Lee Bates, 1868, age 9
With a new school year beginning I am feeling the opportunity of a blank slate, a fresh start, a do-over. Any other unfilled pages out there for anyone? A new beginning? A chance to start over? I'd love to hear about them.
Brenda, I only just now saw this. I, too, can't seem to resist a clean page! And a new school year is the most delightful time to start over! Way better than New Year's. God granted me the courage to start all sorts of new things: renewed frequency of painting, an attempt at learning to be a better cook, wanting to submit to God as I ask Him to teach me self-discipline, two new bible studies, one new friendship. I love NEW.
