We all need to be held this way ... or at very least, I know I do:
"...When I pick up this model of an infant, I feel God is picking me up, with my failure, with my mistrust of my fellow man and woman, with my self-loathing that is despair and not contrition. God picks me up, and I can't do anything but be still.
and this, I believe. "
