Please be praying for our family as tonight is the big night! Mitzi will be arriving in Colorado at 8:30. PLEASE COVER HER TIME WITH US IN PRAYER. She will be here for 30 days. Here are specifics to pray for:

- Pray for Mitzi's health. Altitude could be a problem. She is arriving from sea level!
- Pray for her heart to be open to our family and that she knows how much she is loved.
-Pray for our children that they would be sensitive to her needs and also that she fits in well with the family.
- Pray for the lack of communication. She does not know English.
_Pray for our visits with the Social Workers. That they would see that our home is a God loving home and know that we should be Mitzi's forever family.
-Finally, pray that the Lord's hand would cover this whole thing and that we would have a peace that only comes from our heavenly father.

Holding onto Him,
Lorrie

Lorrie, I am dying to know how things are going. I think of you and your family often in prayer. If you get a chance post an update. Love, Lorriell
Hi Marshall and Lorrie!
I hope your time with Mitzi is going well. Bless you for (I assume) stepping out of your comfort zone and stepping into a precious young life. I pray you will all be blessed through this process, and that God will give you daily strength and grace. Do you know Jenny Ware who attends our church? Her husband Dave plays the bass on the worship team. She is from the Philippines. It might be interesting to talk to her. Her number is 687-4585 if you'd like to contact her.
Let us know how things are going.

Well Mitzi has been here one week now. She is even more beautiful than we imagined! As I write this, she is doing art out on the deck with Hannah. It is such an amazing thing to watch Hannah interact with her sister!

Mitzi is adjusting quite well to the family. She knows some English and is able to communicate with us - prayer answered here! She also loves our big dog Bella - another prayer answered. The boys are so sweet as they interact with her too. They carry her on their backs, blow bubbles with her and treat her like a little sister. Things are going along great! The visit with the social worker was awesome. Mitzi told her that she did not want to go back to the Philippines! She wants to stay here with us.....

Things to continue to pray for....
- Two children that came over to America with Mitzi are sick. Please continue to pray for health for Mitzi. She is adjusting to the altitude but continue to pray for sickness to stay away during our time with her.
- Continue to pray for adjustments with the children. Specifically for Hannah to know she is loved.
-We have 1 more visit with another social worker. Pray that goes well and that she sees how much Mitzi is loved by our family. Pray as Marshall and I begin to show Mitzi boundaries.

We are planning on bringing Mitzi to church next Sunday. We would love to see you and introduce you to Mitzi. Thank you again for your prayers for our family. We continue to feel God's hand covering us.
