Remember that television show? It always cracked me up and gave a laugh for the day. Most of you know that I am a music teacher for elementary students, so I am around kids ages 5-10 every day. I love it, I get so much energy and creativity from being with them. And they DO crack me up. I thought this would be a fun, uplifting discussion...the fun and funny things that children say.

Here's mine for today to get us started off... (Just heard it about 20 minutes ago.)
"Miss Baker, are you married?" "You're not? I thought sure you would be because you sing so pretty."
Skyler, Age 8

Add yours, and let's celebrate and enjoy kids--Jesus did!

Not actually something that my son said but something that he wrote in a class project. He was categorizing life goals according to age and these are the categories he used. Elementary, 6th grade, middles school, high school, college, and adultery! We laughed so hard at the adultery because he thought that it just was a reference to adulthood. I'm sure that his teachers all got a kick out of it as well.
Oh my goodness, I would have fallen on the floor after reading that assignment...how hilarious! If only we would all write these things DOWN and remember them when we need a laugh or when life is a little intense. Great one, Kristin! That made me laugh outloud today and I needed that!

Okay, here is mine for this week:
"Wow, I feel like we are living in a snow globe!"---Wyatt, age 6

From the huge picture window in his first grade classroom all he could see was snow in every direction.
Isn't that a great response? I held onto that all through this last big storm when I was snowed in for two days. It's all about perspective, right?
