Finally!

We wanted to let you all know that we finally got "the call" this morning! After many long, anxious years, we will be heading to the Philippines to bring home our new daughter. God is faithful. We appreciate all of your support and prayers. Please continue to pray for our family as we begin the logistics of traveling oversees. Specifically you can pray for.....

- the logistics of planning our trip. We need to find good airfares for 5 going over and 6 coming back!
- for the health of our family. We need to remain healthy while we prepare for the trip and also while oversees.
- for safety while in the philippines. We have never traveled oversees to a third world country.
- pray for Mitzi while she waits for us. Pray for her health as well. She will be saying good-bye to her new friends in the orphanage. Pray that she adjust to seeing us again.
- Pray that the Lord will use us while over in the Philipppines. May our eyes be open and our hearts be changed forever.

We look forward to seeing you all again and having Mitzi join our church family.. May God bless you and your family.

Lorrie. Wow! What a long and difficult " pregnancy"!!! Mitzi has an amazing story unfolding as God places her in your family. I remember the beginning of your journey to adopt a child. Your earnest heart to mother a child from across the world moved me and was so clearly from the Lord. Who knew then what a long, sometimes painful process this would be? God! I pray for your safe travels, health, the logistics, the finances, and for your reunion with her to be blessed with peace and that you will have supernatural wisdom in helping her through the good bye process.

WOW! Thanks for the news...and your amazing patience. It is so exciting to see the hand of God at work here. You've been through so much on one hand, and on the other hand, you're just beginning. We will pray for all the things you mentioned. We look forward to seeing the "Worthey 6" here soon. We know the same God who began this journey for you will be faithful in walking with you every step of the way.
