I never wanted to go to India. But you all know that when God has different plans, nothing is going to stop Him! Here are a couple of the great privileges I experienced~~~ ~Talking with women in small groups to laugh and to ask each other a zillion questions! They want us to care about them and their children. This opportunity drove home the point my mentors at WPCC had told me--- that discipleship begins with relationship. ~Witnessing the special needs of children in countries with so few Christians, coupled with a high rate of illiteracy---seeing what the Hindu culture imposes upon the people, and also seeing evidence of Communism. ~Learning about the beautiful Indian people- their humbleness, kindness, generosity and resiliency in surviving difficult conditions. I never wanted to go to India, but I am still thanking God for His plans for my life- for sending me on this most amazing adventure!
