Colorado Springs Christian Schools 2010 Lions Golf Classic
Golf Tournament Fundraiser to Benefit Students in Need of Financial Aid
Colorado Springs, CO – Colorado Springs Christian Schools (CSCS), announces its annual golf
tournament fundraiser. The 2010 Lions Classic Golf Tournament will be held Monday, August 30th
starting at 8:00 am at the Country Club of Colorado at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort.
CSCS is known in Colorado Springs for providing an excellent Christian education for over 1,000
students. Through the golf tournament, CSCS is strengthening its commitment to help make
Christian education both affordable and accessible. Funds raised from the tournament will benefit
CSCS’ financial aid program.
Nearly 25 percent of CSCS students receive financial assistance. Tournament participants will
directly impact young leaders attending CSCS who are in need of financial aid.
The tournament will feature the following:
1. 18-hole Scramble Format
2. Hole In One Contest for a CSCS Scholarship, sponsored by Colorado Christian University
3. Hole In One Contest for Toyota Vehicle, sponsored by Liberty Toyota
4. Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, Straightest Drive
5. 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Team Prizes
Tournament sponsors include: Colorado Christian University, Liberty Toyota, InsuremeOnline.com,
Wealth & Legacy Solutions, World Golf & Sand Creek Golf Club, Image Factory Photography,
Sonya D. Camarco (LPL Financial) and Focus Dog Training.
There are many ways to support this important cause. Tournament players will gain access to one of
Colorado’s premier golf courses while investing in student’s lives. Additionally, CSCS welcomes
business sponsorships (details at www.cscslions.org), and other financial or in-kind donations. All
donations are tax-deductible. Sponsorships are offered on an as available basis. Space is limited.
Player registration will close August 20th. The $200 fee for players includes greens fees, cart rental,
breakfast, lunch and gift bag and individual and team prizes.
